When Lisa Baptiste worked as a restaurant host, it was a constant puzzle finding someone to watch her 6-year-old Kennard. From Wednesday to Sunday, she’d be at the Brooklyn restaurant Beso, which serves a mix of Caribbean and American comfort food, until closing, sometimes as late as 3 a.m.
